There’s a variation on that quote shown regularly on golf programmes and it’s sadly so true of many of the golfers I play with and help. I have made my mission in life to help people to do things better and get more enjoyment out of the things they do in life and in golf – It’s sometimes difficult to know which is more important.

You’ll benefit a lot from following some of the ideas on this website and more from reading my book and regularly listening to my self-hypnosis recordings. When you’re working personally with me on your game, you’ll exceed your wildest expectations and challenge that Bob Hope quote.

So why are personal Golf Psychology sessions with the Golf Hypnotist so much better?

The most important difference is that they are tailored to your personal game and the areas that you know you need help with. We can focus on what’s going to make a big difference to you personally – Now. Equally importantly, you have the opportunity for feedback and to ask questions.

As you’ll see later in this page, what you do between sessions is very important and the personal approach allows us to tailor those activities and drills to speed up and strengthen your improving golf game.

Powerful and Successful Golf Psychology Sessions

We’ll know what to work on first soon after our first session. That’s when we’ll start gathering information about your game and your approach to golf. We can refine this as we go through the process in a series of sessions together.

How many sessions will it take? That depends on how much work there is to do and how far you want to take it. I believe that consistency, pace and building momentum are keys to our success. I have many satisfied clients who have only seen me once and others who see me on a regular basis.

Experience tells me that we can usually resolve a single issue, like anger management or the Yips, in a single session. Clients often come back for a second session because they want to reassure themselves that the issue won’t come back – it generally won’t. Once clients have resolved their initial issues, they often come back to do more work with me to fully reap the benefits of golf hypnosis.

So what sort of Golf Improvement areas will we address?

We wont know until we’ve started and it’s evolving over time. Sometimes we’re working to a pattern and other times covering new ground. It’s all depending on your needs and where it’s taking us.

Here are some of the things I work on with clients. These are to give you ideas not to say what we’re going to address. That’ll  come later – when we’re working together.

  • Building and maintaining mental states and getting in the Zone

  • Channelling that critical voice in the back of your mind

  • Becoming your own Virtual Caddy – a favourite of mine

After each session I’ll give you some things to do before the next session. Sometimes they’ll be physical tasks to perform – more often they’re mental exercises for you or hypnosis audio recordings for you to listen to.

This “homework” builds on and extends the work we do in the sessions and ensures that you are making changes at a very deep level – permanent changes. You want long-lasting and progressive change in your golf, don’t you?

Where are we going to do this Golf Psychology stuff?

The short answer is wherever and whenever is appropriate for you. I’m based in Berkshire, around 25 miles South-West of London and I’m happy to travel anywhere for the right client.

I’m happy to do my Golf Psychology stuff

  • Face to face in an office, hotel, your home – anywhere we can sit quietly and uninterrupted
  • At a Golf Club – somewhere quiet, ideally
  • In a quiet corner of the Practice Ground or Driving Range
  • On your golf course – it’s often useful for us to do my stuff together while you play a few holes on the course or even a full round
  • If distance is a problem, we can always work some or all the time over the phone – using Skype perhaps.
