Joe, I checked with some mutual friends who are visiting Belgium over Christmas. Apparently Jos fell about 4 metres from a ladder at home and broke his pelvis, hip, several ribs and suffered from a collapsed lung. Apparently he was in intensive care for a while. It'll take him a while to recuperate.

Hi Friso,

I'm delighted to hear that Jos is still so active. We need more people of his calibre out there spreading the word about the benefits of golf psychology.

Regards,

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Jos is still a lot on tour and working hard with Ernie Els at the moment. The idea of "pills" is indeed new in the world of golf but a lot of testing has been done and the results are very good. We will know more in the near future.

Regards,

Hi Friso,

Thanks for the update on Jos. I hadn't seen him out on the tour since I wrote the article in 2009 and then recently heard that he's been ill. The only thing I'd seen with his name on it was his involvement in golfacademy.tv.

Many people seem to think that the idea of using hypnosis for golf is weird, even for Stress Control, Mental Strength and Total Focus. However, I have to say that the idea of taking food supplements (pills?) to improve my golf doesn't appeal to me, even if they are certified by the World Anti-Doping Agency and the Ministry of Health in Belgium!

Whatever happened to healthy eating and trusting your unconscious mind to swing the club?

Regards,

Andrew

Hi,

Jos is still out on Tour (working with Ernie, Campbell, ...) and worked very hard the last 2 year on the development of one of the newest inventions in the world of golf. Pro-golf+ !
